SURFACE PREPARATION
BARE MASONRY SURFACE
Bare masonry surfaces should be completely dry and free from dust, dirt and grease. Use bleach solution to treat the surface affected by fungus or algae. Repair cracks, uneven surfaces with jawa wall filling or any suitable filler. Smoothen the putty / filler areas with sandpaper and dust off thoroughly. Allow all surfaces to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content and alkalinity of the walls is still high.
PREVIOUSLY PAINTED SURFACES
Remove unstable paint film, loose chalk, by rubbing down the abrasive paper or wire brush and dust off. Use Jawa wall filling to repair cracks if necessary. Prime with jawa Interior Primer.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Stir well before use. The company recommends that the application of jawa stain shield water based matt be done either by roller .DILUTION: 20-30% by volume with clean water for roller application and 30-40% by volume for
spray application. Do not dilute more than 40% with roller application. Over dilution will lead to loss of “stain repellent” property and sever separation after dilution. Thoroughly stir the diluted paint before using again. Do not leave diluted paint unattended for more than one day. Paint infection can lead to foul smell / shade change if kept for longer period. Clean up all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION:
DRYING TIME: TOUCH DRY: minimum 30 minutes. (dependent on temperature and humidity) HARD DRY: 24 hours. (dependent on temperature and humidity)
RE-COATING INTERVAL: 2-3 hours.
THEORETICAL COVERAGE: 12-14 m2/l/coat. (depending upon the substrate conditions) FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS:
1 coat Jawa super sealer/Jawa Interior Primer
2 coat Jawa Wall Filling
2-3 coat Jawa stain shield water based Matt.
SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
Keep out of reach of children and away from food and drink Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not breathe vapor or sanding dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When applying paint, it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear protective clothing and mask while applying the paint. Use soap and water to clean the splashes from skin. Paint must always be stored in a cool and dry place. Care must be taken while transporting the paint. Always keep container in a secure upright position. Use appropriate environmental quality regulations. Do not discharge into drains or environment. Does not contain any added lead, mercury, chromium and cadmium compounds.
